🌿 Bringing Embodied Wellness Into the Workplace 🌿

This month I had the privilege of supporting two very different teams with two meaningful offerings:

✨ At a law firm’s two-year anniversary celebration, I provided a day of individual self-care sessions—reflexology, targeted stretch and acupressure, and head/neck/shoulder release work. These mini-sessions offered a moment to pause, reset, and return to the workday with more clarity and ease.

✨ At ATS Logistics, as part of their Mental Health Awareness Month, I facilitated a group workshop called Embodied Resilience: A Body-Based Approach to Stress Relief. Through elemental meridian theory, guided movement, and body-based inquiry, we explored how stress shows up physically—and how reconnecting with the body can enhance emotional regulation, focus, and connection with coworkers.

Whether it’s through hands-on support or group education, my goal is the same: to create meaningful, accessible experiences that help people reconnect to themselves and navigate their day with more resilience.

Guasha (also spelled Gua Sha) is an ancient healing technique used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to release tension, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural detoxification process. By using a smooth-edged tool to scrape the skin, stagnant energy and toxins are brought to the surface, helping to reduce pain, inflammation, and muscle tightness.

🖤 What to Expect 🖤

📸 In the photos, you can see the immediate after-effects of Guasha on Day 1—redness and petechiae (tiny red spots) appearing as the body responds to the treatment. By Day 2, the marks have started to shift, indicating improved blood flow and deeper healing. Bruising or discoloration is normal and usually fades within a few days.
