Creating an Ancestral Altar

There are several types of alters that you might be used in your spiritual practice but creating an ancestral alter can be very grounding and healing. Our ancestors have passed down so many things from generation to generation. When we have an ancestral alter we can also heal from generations of misguiding and tramas as well. This alter is a grounding place in our home where we can find comfort and also grow. 

At the start of our session we will prepare our alters, your alters will be taken with you and will continue to grow over the years. At our session we will create the starts to your ancestral alter.  There are several ways to create an alter and you'll be provided with a variety of options to create what connects with you. After we complete our alters we will call in our ancestors and finish with a guided meditation to help us connect with them deeper.

Alter Tray 

Incense 

Flowers - (Marigolds if they can be sourced if not other yellow flowers)

Candles

Decorations

What you'll want to bring:

Photos of your loved ones - with or without frames 

Anything that your loved ones, candy, snacks, momentos that remind you of them.
